Olaf was killed by the harpoon gun becose he took a bite of the apple that protects him flom the mycelium. Kit was killed by the mycelium not Olaf. Honestly one of the best scenes and by far the best opening to a marvel movie. Although Endgames opening is even more hard to watch

Personally what hit most for me about this scene is not only does Thor basically lose it all, he loses Loki right after finally repairing his relationship with him. Years of bitter back and forth but he still loved loki, and right when their finally on the level together, moving past the trauma and starting to heal, then- then Thanos... Loki in his last moments still both proud and spiteful of his dual heritage, owns up as all that he is, and falls....

you know, for as young as you sound in this, its actually informative.

Great analysis. Loki was the first one to possess two infinity stones - the Mind stone and the Space stone at the same time, after Thanos lent him the Mind stone. It was the the heart of Loki’s plan in Marvel’s The Avengers.

I think my favorite might be Civil War, because not only was the villain successful in driving apart the heroes/ pitting them against each other, but he wasn't the one responsible for like any of the terrible stuff that happened in the film. That botched takedown in the beginning of the film that lead to the Sokovia Accords? He had nothing to do with. The murder of Tony's parents? He had nothing to do with. Winter Soldier being a wanted man? He may have framed Winter Soldier in one act, but Winter Soldier was already a wanted man, all he did was put another log on the fire that'd died down a bit by that point- knowing full well it wouldn't stick, it wasn't supposed to, it was just supposed to flush him out of hiding, which it did. He didn't start any of those fires, he just fanned the flames. And his motives for doing so? He was one of the victims of an activity they caused and frankly seemed unconcerned about having left behind. He wanted them held accountable to their actions, a completely sympathetic motive. And then there's which hero was aligned with which faction and why. Think about Captain America, firmly against the Sokovia Accords even though he's the poster boy of patriotism. Tony Stark, the guy who stopped selling weapons to the military because he couldn't trust them to not misuse them anymore and outright told the government to shove it when they wanted him to release the secrets of his technology is now fully backing their control. So many clues as to what contributed to the changes of heart. That wedge Zemo drove between them, that collapse of cooperation, is probably what paved the way for Thanos to get as far as he did. If they'd worked together sooner, they could have stopped him more effectively.
